Here at Upwards Family Counseling, we understand that life comes with all kinds of challenges. Our desire is to help kids and their families to be empowered to move in one direction when these challenges arise- UPWARDS.
Meet the Therapist
Destiny Griffin, MS, NCC, LPC
Destiny is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She is a therapist and the owner of Upwards Family Counseling. She received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University.
She is married and has one son, and she enjoys spending time with her family. Destiny loves working with children and their caregivers to help with challenges such as anxiety, behavioral issues, trauma, life transitions, and family relationships.
She believes that all children are created in God's image and is passionate about fostering a space where families feel seen, known, heard, understood, and empowered to walk through whatever challenges they may face.
